Khloe’s Second Chance

Provides financial aid for life-saving pet treatment. In special cases, they provide sanctuary for animals with nowhere else to go.

Live Like Roo

Provides support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis. Grants are awarded monthly and the grant review process requires 3-4 weeks.

Bow-Wow Buddies Foundation

Grants of up to $2,500 per dog for necessary medical treatments for dogs across America in need of care for conditions such as broken bones, enucleation, emergency services, abdominal obstruction, and cancer

Brown Dog Foundation, Inc.

Grants for necessary medical treatment for dogs, but only for one-time scenario.
Not applicable with BluePearl clinics.

Dogs on Deployment

Provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner’s service commitments.

Feline Rescue Society

Assists cat owners who are currently facing financial hardships to keep pets who would otherwise be surrendered to a shelter or euthanized due to the owner’s inability to afford treatment for illness/injury.

For the Love of Alex

Funds emergency and life-saving veterinary care for pets of low-income households.

Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund

Provides grants to assist with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment . Applicable at BluePearl, VCA, or Banfield clinics.

Friends and Vets Helping Pets

Provides assistance to families with financial limitations to pay for lifesaving (not life-prolonging) treatment for curable diseases such as tumors, broken bones, ambulatory care, expensive medication, or post-surgical prosthetic devices.

Fur the Brand

Provides financial assistance to pets who face a cancer diagnosis requiring extensive veterinary care in which the owners are unable to afford.

Heal Foundation

Provides financial assistance to owners of dogs requiring vet care.Funding is only for spayed/neutered dogs
Funding is limited to a $1,000 limit per applicant and the owner must pay at least 25% of the total fee.

Land of Pure Gold

Offers $1000 grants for cancer treatment for working dogs throughout the U.S. and Canada.Must be full-time working dog partner in areas of assistance, detection, search & rescue, law enforcement, military or animal-assisted therapy.

Lexi’s Legacy

Provides financial assistance to individual families who cannot afford urgent veterinary care for their dogs

Miranda’s People

Provides financial assistance for dogs with cancer

Molly’s Hope

Provides necessary financial assistance for emergency medical treatment in efforts to prevent financially driven euthanasia Grants range between $300-$400.

Mosby Foundation

Provides financial support and public education to assist in the care for critically sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs

Onyx and Breezy

Offers help for pets of individuals where medical hardship is present

Paws 4 A Cure

Paws 4 A Cure assist dog and cat pet parents throughout the United States who are unable to afford treatment costs for their dog or cat’s illness or injury regardless of breed, age, or diagnosis. Maximum assistance per dog or cat is $400.

Pet Lifeline Financial Assistance Program

Provides financial assistance to pet owners who are struggling to cover their pet’s veterinary bills One pet owner is selected each month.

Red Rover

Offers one-time grants to low or no-income families, rescuers and Good Samaritans facing emergency veterinary crises

The Peanut Fund

Provides financial assistance for pets with medical issues in low-income families to reduce the risk of euthanasia and homelessness, with small dollar grants of $50-$200.

Tri-pawds

Provides financial assistance for amputation surgeries only Awards 2 grants per month, $1,000 each.

Trio Animal Foundation

Assists shelters, rescues and individuals by paying the medical bills of homeless pets.

Land of Pure Gold

Offers $1000 grants for cancer treatment for working dogs throughout the U.S. and Canada

Must be full-time working dog partner in areas of assistance, detection, search & rescue, law enforcement, military or animal-assisted therapy.

Helps to fund emergency/unexpected care for working guide dogs (trained at registered schools anywhere in North America) living in Canada

Will fund before care and up to three months after care.

Assists people in need by subsidizing the cost of veterinary care for the pets

Helps offset the cost of treatment for advanced cancer therapies designed by board-certified veterinarians.

The list was compiled by the Magic Bullet Fund volunteers. For twenty years, the Magic Bullet Fund supported families with dogs and cats with cancer, but sadly, they are no longer accepting applications.

Will provide financial assistance to individuals and families in need, helping cover the costs of lymphoma treatment for their beloved dogs

Location: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia only

Provides financial assistance in time of critical need

Works with all companion animals

Location: San Diego County, California only

Provides financial support to low-income families, senior citizens, veterans, military families, people experiencing homelessness, students, disabled individuals, and hard-working families who have exhausted all other options and are at risk of losing their beloved pet

Location: Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia

Provides financial assistance for pets with a confirmed diagnosis of cancer. If approved, may cover 20-40% of the total fee.

Location: Ohio only

Provides funding for corrective, suitable, and life-saving medical treatment to companion animals of families in need

Location: Colorado only.

Provides education, counseling, and financial support to Coloradan families that have companion animals living with cancer in an effort to honor the human-animal connection.

Location: Polk and Marion counties in Oregon.

Provides financial assistance for veterinary care for dogs of families experiencing financial hardship.

Location: Connecticut only

Provides financial assistance for canine cancer treatment to residents that are: Experiencing Financial Challenges; Senior Citizens; Sick and/or Terminally Ill; U.S. Military Veterans and Their Families.

Location: Florida only

Provides medical care to injured and abandoned animals, community cats and pets of families in financial distress, and to provide quality homes to companion animals
